University of Jena relies on European cooperation

3. July 2023

How does the university of the future look like? The Friedrich Schiller University Jena has answered this question for itself and relies on European cooperation and innovation. It has been a member of the EC2U Alliance, which was founded as part of the European University Initiative 2020, from the very beginning. Their goal is to create a European campus that connects science, civil society and stakeholders through a network of joint activities and increased mobility. The activities developed by the network of European city universities over the past 2.5 years convinced the European Commission to fund the EC2U Alliance for another four years with 14.4 million euros.
